Position Title: Business Data Analyst – Tuition and Fees
Status: Appendix D Contract
Hours: 35 hours per week
Faculty/Department: Office of the Registrar
Campus/Location: North Campus
Salary: Band H Min $33.38 Max $38.75

As a Business Data Analyst for Tuition and Fees, you will work closely with academic faculties and various departments to establish processes and complete transactions related to student tuition, incidental fees, and other fees collected through the Office of the Registrar in the Banner Student system. This role involves understanding and interpreting Ministry policies, maintaining accuracy of tuition and fee tables, processing student account fees, and collaborating with other departments to ensure financial stability. You will also collaborate with other coordinators and departments to resolve fee-related issues and maintain a transparent fee environment.
– Education: A 3-year diploma/degree or equivalent in fields such as Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related programs, with progress towards an accounting designation (CGA, CM, CA, or CPA).
– Experience: Minimum of 3 years of related work experience in student fee collection or accounting.
– Skills: Strong knowledge of financial statements, payments, and accounting procedures, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, superior communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), familiarity with student information systems and relational databases, ability to work independently, and leadership skills.
