Role Overview:
As part of this position, you will be responsible for providing transportation services to Members of Parliament, Senators, Officers, and employees of various governmental entities including the House, Senate, Library of Parliament, and Supreme Court of Canada. This entails operating buses for passenger transportation and driving trucks and cargo vans for the pickup and delivery of items such as heritage furniture and classified documents. Your duties will involve ensuring the timely and safe transportation of individuals and goods, adhering to schedules and service standards, and complying with transportation policies and procedures set forth by the House of Commons, as well as transportation authorities in Ontario and Quebec.
